On March 14th, 2025, YCDA hosted our Bilingual Business Accelerator Kick-Off at Legends Casino in Toppenish.  The Business Accelerator Program is designed for Yakima County businesses with fewer than 30 employees that have been operating for more than two years.  The event brought together 42 businesses and five resource partners–South Central Workforce, Small Business Development Center, Washington State Department of Enterprise Services, Washington State Office of Minority & Women Owned Businesses, and YCDA for a day of networking and learning.  The Kick-Off event featured a workshop on business best practices led by Mike Darrow of the Washington State Small Business Development Center.

We’re excited to keep the momentum going at our upcoming Business Accelerator Conference on Friday, April 18 again at Legends Casino in Toppenish.  Look forward to a day packed with expert insights on financial education, HR Management, insurance, real estate, marketing, and financing.  In addition to keynote speakers and breakout sessions, you’ll have the chance to network with resources for your business.  This will be a great opportunity to expand your skills and grow alongside fellow entrepreneurs in the Yakima Valley.
