Take the first step toward a rewarding career in advanced manufacturing.  The Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee (AJAC) is offering the Manufacturing Academy in Yakima this winter! 

The FREE 10-week hands-on training program is designed to equip participants with the foundational skills and certifications needed to excel in the manufacturing industry.  Whether you’re looking for a fresh start or to enhance your current skill set, this program is the perfect opportunity.

What you’ll Learn

Throughout the program, participants will gain skills and certifications in: Shop Math and Precision Measurement, CNC Machining and Blueprint Reading, OSHA-10 Safety, Lean Manufacturing, CPR/First.

  • January 15 – March 20, 2025
  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.
  • Location: 215 North 3rd Avenue, Yakima, WA 98902

Who Can Apply?

This opportunity is open to Washington State residents who are: 18 years or older, able to commit to in-person classes, willing to complete the required application and funding paperwork.
