The Yakima County Development Association (YCDA), in partnership with the Associated General Contractors of Washington (AGC), is proud to launch the Construction Business Accelerator Program.  Funded by South Central Workforce (SCW) and the Washington Economic Development Finance Authority (WEDFA), this initiative is designed to empower local construction business with the tools, strategies, and resources they need to overcome challenges and grow sustainably.

Why This Program Matters– Construction is a cornerstone of Yakima County’s economy.  Yet, construction businesses face unique challenges every day–workforce shortages, financial planning, and project management complexities, to name a few.

The construction Business Accelerator Program delivers targeted solutions to address these challenges and help businesses:

  • Strengthen operations
  • Boost efficiency
  • Build resilience in a competitive market

With the support of SCW and WEDFA, we’re committed to fostering growth and success for Yakima County’s construction sector.

Your Input Shapes This Program–We want this program to deliver maximum value to our local construction community–and your input is essential.  YCDA and AGC invite construction professionals to share their insights and help identify the tools and resources that matter most.

Whether you need support with workforce training, financial tools, or project management systems, your feedback will shape the program’s focus.
