Bilingual Business Accelerator Conference

On April 18, 2025, business owners from around Yakima County attended YCDA’s Bilingual Business Accelerator Conference at Legends Casino.

After a keynote session led by Jon Smith, Executive Director of YCDA and Amy Martinez, Chief Executive Officer of South-Central Workforce attendees dove into hands on break-out sessions–Financial Education, Loan Readiness, HR Management, Real Estate, Insurance, and Marketing–guided by local experts from:

  • South Central Workforce
  • Small Business Development Center
  • City of Yakima
  • City of Zillah
  • Mitchel, Reed & Schmitten Insurance
  • Field Group

Each workshop became a candid conversation, equipping business owners with practical tools to strengthen cash flow, streamline hiring, manage risk, and position their companies for the second stage of growth in their business.

Resource Partners

Between sessions, participants connected one-on-one with resource tables hosted by YCDA, South Central Workforce, Small Business Development Center, People for People, Washington Department of Enterprise Services, and the Office of Minority Women Owned Business Enterprises–building relationships with resources for their business.

YCDA extends a thank you to all of our our attendees, speakers, and partners who made the day a success.  Sign up for our newsletter to stay informed on future events.
