
More than 39 businesses and industry professionals came together last Thursday at Legends Casino in Toppenish for our Construction Business Accelerator Conference to connect, learn, and build toward a stronger local construction economy. Hosted by the Yakima County Development Association (YCDA) in partnership with ACG of Washington, the day was designed to provide practical tools, industry insights, and one-on-one support for entrepreneurs in the construction and trades industries.
With support from YCDA investors, the Community Reinvestment Project (funded through South Central Workforce), Wells Fargo and grants from the Washington Economic Development Finance Authority (WEDFA), and the Washington State Microenterprise Association (WSMA), the conference offered a free day of learning tailored for the construction industry and supporting trades.

From a keynote speaker to interactive workshops and breakout sessions, the conference offered a balanced mix of inspiration and actionable insights. A total of 21 speakers from across Washington State came together to share their knowledge and expertise with attendees.
