The Yakima County Development Association’s 2024–2028 Investment Campaign is a five-year initiative dedicated to strengthening Yakima County’s economy and creating opportunities for future generations.
Through this campaign, YCDA aims to raise $4 million to support strategic economic development efforts projected to create 4,000 jobs and generate nearly $253 million in new annual earnings and payroll throughout the region.
These results are made possible through the collective efforts of YCDA, the support of our public and private partners, and the continued investment of organizations and businesses committed to the future of the Yakima Valley.

Since its inception Yakima County Development Association has generated $64 of local economic activity for every dollar invested in the association.
$77.5million
Since 1999 the SIED program (Supporting Investment in Economic Development) has funded over $77.5 million in local infrastructure.
5,750 new jobs
- Yakima County Development Association has served over 100 businesses annually
- Created 5,750 new jobs at over 150 businesses, and facilitated $490 million in investments in Yakima County businesses.
